HBC has, as a condition of sale, a back to base warranty on all our products, postage is to be paid by the customer and once warranty claim is accepted you will receive email updates which will indicate HBC will repair or replace the item and post back. If a warranty claim is denied the customer will need to pay costs of repairing the item and the return freight cost. HBC will replace any dead on arrival items within 7 days of receiving that item. Warranty will be denied for items that are deemed to have been intentionally damaged or damaged due to misuse or user error.
If you have changed your mind about your purchase, HBC will be pleased to offer you a refund or exchange provided that:
- You return the item within 10 business days of purchase
- You produce a satisfactory proof of purchase (your original receipt or a tax invoice)
- The item is in re-saleable condition, including its original packaging (if any), is unused and as sold.
If you believe you have purchased a faulty product, you must provide proof of purchase to receive a refund or replacement product. Proof of purchase may be your original receipt or a tax invoice. HBC may have the faulty product assessed to determine the nature and cause of the fault. HBC reserves the right to decline an exchange, refund or repair where any product fault is caused by misuse or neglect.
Many manufacturers have dedicated support centres designed specifically to deal with issues in relation to their products and may be able to provide a quicker assessment of, and remedy for, any issue with your purchased product. You may, therefore, prefer to contact the manufacturer directly although you are not obliged to do this. All warranties are supplied by the manufacturer, not that of HBC. These warranties are offered by the manufacturer who specify the warranty periods which may vary for each product.
HBC has no control over manufacturer warranty and repair periods, therefore we cannot advise an accurate time frame. That being said, HBC will do all that it can to ensure that the issue is sorted as quickly as possible while keeping you updated throughout the process. If the faulty item cannot be repaired, a replacement or refund will be offered.
